I have always considered editorial assignment work as an opportunity for contemplative expression. My imagery is most often minimalistic and framed within a defined space. It is about control (the craft of composition and light) — and then the letting go so that something more meaningful can take place. Texture also becomes an important consideration. It is my curious nature to explore the interrelationship of objects (people, places, things) arranged in a defined space as a means to illustrate an idea.
